"The Art of Inner-Luxury" Huh? What's that?

THE ART OF INNER-LUXURY

    Definition:
    The Art of Inner-Luxury
    /ˈinər ˈləkSH(ə)rē/

            noun
        1. A refined practice of nourishing the unseen self; the embodiment of intentional wellness and elevated inner care.
Example: “Drinking Héir Sea Moss daily is part of my Art of Inner-Luxury.”

"I want to enter my soft-girl era... I'm tired of working.
I want to be taken care of.
I want a rich man, I'm so sick of these broke men wanting my attention.
I want to go shopping on Rodeo Drive.
I want a life of Luxury.
I want the finer things in life.
I want to go to Paris.
    I want my bills paid.
    I want an allowance.
    I want the trips.
I want to sit at home and decorate every 3 months.
I want to raise the kids and have play dates, while my man works hard and gives me the money whenever I ask.
    I want the diamonds.
I want the little gold flakes in the eye cream and serums.
    I want...
    I want...
    I want...
    I want."

We hear it so much all over social media that where it has become a new thing. The new motto. The new "sprinkle sprinkle". The master classes of "How to Secure A Rich Man" workshops, and life coaches on finesse, the "arrangements." Let's be real... whether you vocalize it or not: we all want to have those shiny things, expensive vacations... that's paid for by someone else, material and serial numbers that can be traced back in the systems and be verified as authentic, the expensive luxury gyms, the designer bags, 6-star hotels, etc.

Why? Because it makes us feel good about ourselves rights? We flexing. We live for the applause. The likes. The views. You made that up. You convinced yourself to believe that's the one all be all to being happy or fulfilled. I just said what you were scared of saying out loud. Now hear me out. This may seem a little raw, a little direct, a bit harsh, but it's the truth. And if it's not speaking to you? If it doesn't apply? Let it fly. Go to the next blog. Who am I speaking to right now? Those who seek external validation. It comes in all shapes and sizes and colors and economic backgrounds, educational backgrounds, ages, and those of status or wanting to be rubbing shoulders with the "elite." It's universal. It's human nature. It's been normalized for centuries.

However, it's not a secret anymore. It's blasted in our faces every day due to having access to the Internet and companies push beauty and "luxury" and this narrative in the public head all day every day. But me? I'm sick of hearing it and seeing it. Open your mind + step into Cortney Héir’s reality to understand what “The Art of Inner-Luxury” is.
